1. Who we are

Lantern Street is a service of RTG Global Sourcing Limited, incorporated with limited liability ("Lantern Street", "we", "us" or "our"). RTG Global Sourcing Limited is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. This notice covers our website, lanternstreetco.com (the "Website"), and the emails you send us.

Contact: contact@lanternstreetco.com

2. Information we collect

Emails you send us. The Website has no forms and no accounts. If you email us, including by using the "Book a fit call" or "Talk to us" buttons, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you include in your message, such as your company and how your companies are set up. Please don't send sensitive personal information, such as health details, government ID numbers, financial account or payment card details, or passwords. If you do, we may delete that part of the message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, our hosting provider records standard technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the time of your visit. It uses this for security and to keep the site running. The hosting provider's built-in site analytics also record visit information such as the pages viewed, the referring site, the browser and device type, and page performance, so that we can see how the Website is used. The Website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • reply to your email and discuss whether and how we can help;
  • keep a record of business enquiries so that we can follow up and avoid duplicate contact;
  • prepare a proposal if you ask for one;
  • operate, secure and improve the Website; and
  • meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, on our legitimate interest in responding to and managing business enquiries and running the Website, and on complying with our legal obligations.

We don't add you to a mailing list because you emailed us. We don't sell personal information, we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we don't use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed, with:

  • Service providers that act on our instructions: Lovable, which hosts the Website in the United States and provides its built-in analytics, Google Workspace, which provides our email; and Airwallex, which processes payments if you become a client.
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants, auditors, insurers and lawyers.
  • Licensed providers you ask us to introduce you to, but only with your agreement. They contract with you directly and are responsible for their own handling of your information.
  • Authorities, where the law, a regulation or legal process requires it, or to protect our rights or others.
  • A buyer or successor, if all or part of our business is sold or merged, subject to confidentiality protections.

5. International transfers

Our Website is hosted in the United States. We work across borders, so our team and service providers may access your information from other countries, including the Philippines and the United States. Data protection laws there may differ from those where you live. Where the law requires it, including the EU and UK GDPR, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses in our service providers' data processing terms.

6. How long we keep it

  • Emails and enquiries that don't lead to an engagement: up to 24 months after our last contact with you.
  • If an enquiry becomes an engagement, its records are kept for the engagement and up to 7 years after it ends, or longer where the law requires.
  • Server logs and analytics: for the period set by our hosting provider.

When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Website, access controls and multi-factor authentication on our business accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected people and regulators where the law requires it.

8. Cookies

The Website doesn't use advertising cookies. It may use strictly necessary storage to deliver pages and the hosting provider's built-in analytics described above.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, to ask for a copy of it, and to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email contact@lanternstreetco.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law requires.

10. Children

The Website is for businesses. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

11. Changes

We may update this notice. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
